Libraries today are facing great challenges to remain relevant in the lives of the communities they serve; limitations of funding and manpower; increased demand and expectations from its users; increasing pressure to transform and reinvent itself. How can libraries overcome these challenges and yet serve the broad spectrum of community users’ needs? Successful public libraries have partnership as one of their strategic thrust. Working with partners that share the same mission and objectives, have proven to be more effective and impactful than working in isolation.
This module guides you in identifying the right partners and how to develop a long-term relationship with partners to enable libraries in deepen widen their reach to their respective user groups.
This module will take 20 learning hours, including course time, pre- and post- course reading and assessments.
